This is my version of Split To CMYK. As with my other SplitTo scripts, this script constructs a layer group of the split Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black channels in such a way as to combine to form the original image. Well, actually, in this case sharp-eyed readers will note that the result is a bit darker and more saturated. However, it is an accurate result as you will find if you compare it to the split and recombine using PSP's channel commands. By the way, in this script, I cheaped out and used PSP's Split to CMYK command since my channel calculations weren't producing the same results and I wanted to maintain compatibility with PSP's CMYK conversion. ;)
Unlike the previous two scripts, this one needs to be placed in your
Scripts-Trusted folder since it wants to close the images generated by PSP's
Split to CMYK command.
Download the script. Place the script in your Scripts-Trusted
folder (since it wants to close the images generated by PSP's
Split to CMYK command).
Open or create a new image. Select the SplitToCMYK script in the scripts list and press play.
