Brushy Frame 0.2

This script paints a rectangle around the edge of the image or around the bounding box of a selection using the brush of your choice. The brushes currently supported are: Airbrush, Background Eraser, Burn, Change to Target, Color Replacer, Dodge, Emboss, Eraser, Hue, Lighten/Darken, Paint brush, Picture tube, Saturation, Sharpen, and Soften. Note, Warp is not on the list of supported brush tools however it is on my list of tools to add once I figure out its Path format.

The example below shows several different Brushy Frame effects over a copper Sculpture inlay.

Installation instructions:

Download the script.  Place the script in your restricted scripts folder.

To Run:

Open or create a new image.  Select a brush with whatever settings you want, optionally create a selection, and run the script. You'll be asked how many applications you want. This controls how many times the brush is stroked around the edge. Random brushes and tubes benefit from more than one application. If you have a selection, you'll be asked whether to remove it before painting. If you don't remove it then the selection will clip the brush effect which may or may not be desirable.
